Programme Objectives

Hong Kong Sustainable Development Research Institute (HKSDRI) invites applications for research internship with our research team. The research internship programme provides opportunities for candidates to work in a challenging working environment. The programme aims to develop their project management and research skills and enhance their understandings to social development and social policy. The internship period will start from May to August, 2014 and working hours are flexible depending on intern’s schedule to arrange.

Application for the research internship programme 2014 Batch 3 will be closed on 25th April, 2014. Candidates may be invited for interviewwithin one month after the deadline. All information will be treated strictly confidential, and data for unsuccessful candidates will be destroyed after the applicationcompleted.

Internship Terms

  1. Interns will have high flexibility in arranging their working schedule as long as the project schedule can be met.

  2. Interns will perform independent working, yet we expect interns to report their progress to the project manager every week at the HKSDRI office. Besides, HKSDRI office will be opened for use in phases.

  3. Interns do not have salary for the programme. HKSDRI will cover all direct expenses incurred in the project. For interns living far away from the HKSDRI office, basic transportation allowance will be provided.

The purposes of this workshop attempted to give a full picture of HKSDRI, and introduce our advisory researchers.

HKSDRI invited Miss Veronique from the global organization, Control Union, to express the verification of 'Sustainable' indices.

'Marketing on New Media' training workshop

HKSDRI invited Mr. Pedro Eloy from the University of Hong Kong to deliver two sessions on this topics, and our interns required to work on the marketing proposal of new media.
