Kick-off Ceremony – SDG Junior Ambassador Programme 2018

Hong Kong Sustainable Development Research Institute is one of the Supporting Organisations of the SDG Junior Ambassador Programme 2018 organized by JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes. This programme is an award-winning project, which aims at educating kids on having an environmental exposure and to promote environmental protection as a sense of responsibility!

More about the SDG Junior Ambassador Programme: In response to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes launched the SDG Junior Ambassador Prorgramme since 2017, with a clear focus of environmental protection. Primary school students were recruited as SDG Junior Ambassadors. Through a series of talks, visits and training workshops, they have deepened their understanding on the SDGs and began to carry out implementation in schools and their own communities to promote the concept of the SDGs. The theme for 2018 is “Environmental, Health and Well-Being”, co-organize with Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, leadership trainings will be conducted and will further extend the programme outside Hong Kong, to train up Junior Ambassadors at different countries in Asia to promote Environmental, Health and Well-Being.
