Meeting With The Chairman Of The Harbourfront Commission

 

Hong Kong Sustainable Development Research Institute (HKSDRI) met with Mr. Nicholas Brooke, SBS,JP, the chairman of the Harbourfront Commission and examined the harbourfront development in Hong Kong.

Victoria Harbour is a valuable asset of Hong Kong and the harbourfront development is very important to the sustainable development of Hong Kong. The harbourfront development needs to meet all users’ needs in order to allow Victoria Harbour to integrate with our life. Victoria Harbour is not just a tourist spot, it is also a part of our daily life.

In the meeting, Mr. Brooke shared the future direction of harbourfront development, especially the feasibility of setting up the Harbourfront Authority. We will continue to concern about the harbourfront development of Hong Kong and promote the related work actively.
