Public Space Symposium
Topic: Housing our Public Space
Date: 2014.6.28
Public spaces have been increasingly deemed to be a luxury in face of increasing housing demand with limited supply of land. The stereotype of “housing comes first” prompts an intriguing question: “Would many of our public spaces continue to give way for housing development in the near future?” To uphold a good living quality, public space is an integral component. How, then, can we balance between housing development and public space provision?
