Our Founder and Executive Director Mr. Ivan Chu, who is a member of UNESCAP Sustainable Business Network (“ESBN”), has attended the Preparatory Meeting for the Asia-Pacific Business Forum(“APBF”) 2018 held in Cyberport, Hong Kong, China. The discussions among the UNESCAP members focus on 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”), specifically on the future strategic development of digital economy, use of science, technology and innovation (“STI”), sustainable business practices in financial sectors, young and women entrepreneurs, and other emerging and persistent issues of Asia-Pacific Region.

EBAC plays a leading role in Asia-Pacific inclusive and sustainable development. It mainly promotes the active engagement of the business sector in addressing issues of environmental sustainable and social inclusiveness in business, in the Asia-Pacific Region, based on three pillars of sustainability: Economic, Social and Environment pillars. This Sustainable Business Network has been emphasized the importance of business’s role in sustainable development globally.
